Several leading ICT identities feature in a new television commercial which has commenced a four-week on-air schedule with Seven Tasmania.
The 30 second spot was produced by Southern Cross Austereo (SCA) as part of their ‘Tasmania Together’ community support campaign, and focuses on the local Information, Communication and Technology sector.
“The commercial contains a number of positive messages to businesses and the broader community” according to Steve Adermann, TasICT Chief Executive Officer. “The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on the way businesses operate, and now more than ever the commerce sector is looking for technology-lead solutions”. He added “Most people became familiar with online meetings very quickly, but technology offers so many more ways business operators can adapt to the circumstances and find efficiencies”.
TasICT President Martin Anderson along with other industry stalwarts ISW Managing Director Ian Warner, Telstra Regional General Manager Michael Patterson, My State Head of Technology David Mills, Disruptive Co. Directer & Founder Katy Cooper and Tasnetworks Leader, Information Technology Nigel Bailey each recorded an individual message for the commercial which opens with an introduction from TasICT CEO Steve Adermann.
SCA General Sales Manager Thesspina Donopoulos said ”The ‘Tasmania Together’ campaign is a complimentary service offered by SCA to support and engage local businesses and to help promote these businesses to our local community as well as encourage us to help each other during the current challenging circumstances”.
